In Bengali, "cheeni" can mean "sugar" or "I know of" depending on the context. The space we've built at Cheeni can also change with context - it's a place to grab a steaming cup of chai while finishing up those last few hours of work or a place to share a bottle of wine with friends. Our menu takes inspiration from the many snack foods in Indian cuisine and our space is a reflection of the many supporters that helped us bring our vision to reality.
